Tested, proven, secure

HydroSecure® has been tested under worst-case attack scenarios by US Department of Defense and Department of State experts. It was shown to produce purified water meeting US EPA drinking water standards despite heavy, sustained contamination by:

Biological threats:

  • Bacteria (such as E. coli or Legionella)
  • Spores (such as Anthrax and Cryptosporidium)
  • Viruses (such as Avian flu, SARS, or Norwalk)
  • Toxins (such as Botulism or Ricin)

Chemical threats

  • Chemical warfare agents (nerve gas, respiratory toxins and blister agents)
  • Industrial/agricultural chemicals (Cyanide, pesticides, herbicides)
  • Pharmaceuticals and endocrine disruptors

Radiation threats

  • Water-borne particulates

Testing included long-term operations under challenging conditions in both the laboratory and in the field. Detailed results of the testing are classified, but government agencies may request results from the Department of Defense Technical Support Working Group (www.tswg.gov) by contacting Col. Jim Ball, USAF-Ret. (techtrans [at] cox.net).

 

The HydroSecure process
